Ms. Anke Reiffenstuel’s visit to the DSND was a special occasion for everyone involved. In her role as Commissioner for Foreign Science, Education and Research Policy at the German Federal Foreign Office, she was welcomed by the Board and the school leadership and given a tour of the school.
For Ms. Reiffenstuel, visiting the kindergarten was particularly important, as one of her sons had attended it during her time in Delhi between 2002 and 2005. It also led to a lovely reunion with Carmen Hussain.
During her discussions with the Board and the school leadership, Ms. Reiffenstuel showed that she was very well informed about the school. She asked many questions about the DSND’s future development and strategic direction and also underlined the strong interest of the Federal Foreign Office in the school.
