On 30 May 2026, the German Embassy School New Delhi held its first-ever school ball. Following the ceremonial graduation event, the festive evening began in the Blue Hall of the German Embassy, where numerous members of the school community gathered to celebrate together.
The evening focused on a diverse dance program. The ballroom and Latin dance club had prepared extensively for the event, and dance classes for parents and staff had been offered beforehand, receiving a very positive response. Among the dances performed were the waltz, Cha-Cha-Cha, and Discofox. A particularly memorable moment was the parents’ dance round, during which parents danced a slow waltz together with their children.
Among the highlights of the evening were the performance by the school band and the dance show presented by the students of the dance club together with their two instructors. With dance music, Rumba, and Cha-Cha-Cha, they created a wonderful atmosphere and delighted the audience.
The Discofox dance competition, which attracted many enthusiastic participants, was also very well received. The audience selected the winning couple, who were awarded a trophy.
In addition to the varied program, guests enjoyed a festive buffet and the unique atmosphere of the evening, which concluded successfully with rock music and a lively celebration.
Special thanks go to the German Embassy for its support and for providing the venue, as well as to everyone whose dedication and commitment contributed to the success of this special event.
