Christmas Event
After 2 long years without any event we were all looking forward to the Christmas Event this year. The DSND community was present in large numbers. The parent’s council provided hot dogs, pretzels, cookies and punch for everyone and decorated the place with lots of love. Class 3 to 10, the school band and the teacher presentations entertained everyone with christmas songs. The stalls of the kindergarten, the primary school and the parent’s council gave us the feeling of a real christmas market.

On Friday the children of the elementary school sold self-made ornaments for Christmas at the Christmas market.
Grades 3 and 4 sang “Rudolph, the Red-Nosed Reindeer” and “In der Weihnachtsbäckerei”. Some children put on aprons for it.
The meal included pretzels, hot dogs, cookies and children's punch. Everything tasted very good.
You could buy snow globes, Christmas trees, bracelets, star pendants, ring boxes, Christmas cards and peanuts painted as Santa Clauses, snowmen or angels from elementary school children. We sold everything. Nothing is left.
At the end everyone cleaned up. Then everyone had to go home.
Mrs. Kulow would like to thank especially the parents council for organizing a wonderful event and everyone who contributed to the musical program, worked at stalls and and provided other support.
