Besuch der Naz-Stiftung Mädchen an der DSND
Die Naz Foundation (India) Trust ist eine gemeinnützige Organisation, die in den Bereichen Gleichberechtigung und Gesundheit tätig ist. Naz India betreibt ein Sport-for-Development-Programm, die Young People’s Initiative (YPI) für Jugendliche, die das Medium Sport nutzt, um lebenswichtige Kenntnisse in den Bereichen Gesundheit und Rechte, Kommunikation, Finanzwissen usw. zu vermitteln.
Das wirtschaftliche Entwicklungsprogramm von Naz India „Aath Kadam“ (8 Schritte) arbeitet mit den YPI-Alumni zusammen, um sie bei der Suche nach Beschäftigungsmöglichkeiten zu unterstützen, indem es ihnen ermöglicht, Kenntnisse und Fähigkeiten zu erwerben und Unterstützung von Mentoren zu erhalten.
Am Dienstag, den 15. Oktober 2019 besuchten drei junge Mädchen des Programms „Aath Kadam“
zusammen mit zwei Mentoren der Naz Foundation die Deutsche Botschaftsschule Neu Delhi.
Sie wurden im Büro des Schulleiters begrüßt und die Aspekte der Gleichheit und Freiheit im indischen en und deutschen Szenario wurden diskutiert. Im Anschluß daran haben die Verwaltungsmitarbeiterinnen Simran Dhingra und Aprajita Singh sich und ihren Werdegang vorgestellt und den Mädchen ihren Ausbildungsweg und ihre Berufsbilder erläutert.
Herr Antacido hat während eines Schulrundganges das deutsche Bildungssystem erläutert.
Danach haben die Schülerinnen im Rotationsprinzip Einblick in den Arbeitsbereich der Verwaltungsleiterin Anja Shivhare, der Buchhalterin Aprajita Singh und der Sekretärin Simran Dhingra erhalten. Sie stellten Fragen und erhielten praktische Tipps von den Kolleginnen
Es war fruchtbarer Austausch zwischen den Schülerinnen der Naz Foundation und Vertretern der DSND. Die Kolleginnen stehen für weitere Fragen der Schülerinnen gern zur Verfügung.
Girls from Naz Foundation (India) Trust visit DSND
The Naz Foundation (India) Trust is a non-profit organization working in the sectors of gender equality and health. Naz India runs a sport-for-development programme, Young People’s Initiative (YPI) for youth that use the medium of sport to deliver crucial life skills education on the issues of health and rights, communication, financial literacy etc.
Naz India’s economic development programme “Aath Kadam” (8 steps) works with the YPI alumni to help them pursue employment opportunities by enabling them to acquire knowledge and skills and to receive support from mentors in the industry.
Three young girls of the “Aath Kadam” programme along with two mentors from Naz Foundation visited the German Embassy School New Delhi on Tuesday, 15th October 2019.
They were welcomed in the principal’s office and they discussed aspects related to equality and freedom in the Indian and German scenario. Subsequently, the administrative staff Simran Dhingra and Aprajita Singh introduced themselves and their journey and explained the girls the training path and their work profiles.
Mr. Antacido elucidated the German education system while taking the guests through the school.
Thereafter, the students got an insight of the job roles of the head of administration, Ms. Anja Shivhare, the chartered accountant, Ms. Aprajita Singh, and the school secretary, Ms. Simran Dhingra. They asked questions and received practical tips from the colleagues.
It was a fruitful exchange between the students of the Naz foundation and the representatives of DSND. The colleagues would be happy to guide and assist these girls.
