On Saturday, February 15th, this year's Kindergarten Sports Day took place at Springdales School Farm. Under bright sunshine and in high spirits, children, parents, and teachers gathered for a fun-filled day of movement, games, and community.
The day began with a cheerful warm-up session, where games and dancing set the perfect mood. This was followed by a joint jogging round around the vast mustard field. Many parents took this opportunity to admire the lovingly tended garden beds of their children, where spinach, carrots, cabbage, and potatoes were growing in full bloom.
After a short detour into the shady mango grove, various group games and relay races were on the agenda. From bridge tag and the potato race to the cone relay, where children competed against parents, there was plenty of fun and sporting ambition. A special highlight was the impressive Taekwondo show, where the children proudly demonstrated their skills.
After all these sporting activities, everyone looked forward to the communal picnic. Thanks to the many delicious dishes brought along, it turned into a real feast. Following another round of play, a visit to the rabbits, and watering the vegetable beds, the beautiful day slowly came to an end.
The Kindergarten Sports Day was a great success and once again highlighted the importance of shared experiences and physical activity for both children and parents. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed to making this day so special!
