Finally the time had come: the new first graders started school on Wednesday.
To give the new children a warm welcome, the primary school children had prepared a colourful program.
First they told in a song what is done in school and that you can make lots of friends.
The second graders reported on their experiences and took the fears away from the much-said “seriousness of life”. The vowels have been used in a song as welll and of course every child traditionally received their cloverleaf with their good wishes.
The most important thing on this day was of course the school cone! Every child proudly received their school cone.
The preschool children also joined the celebration and received a small school cone as well.
