During the week before the Easter holidays, our students experienced a wonderful and exciting time, all centered around the upcoming Easter celebration. Throughout this special week, the children had the opportunity to explore a variety of activities that were not only fun but also conveyed valuable learning content related to Easter.

The Easter project was an interdisciplinary initiative conducted across the subjects of German, Science, Art, Mathematics, and English. In these contexts, the students engaged creatively in different ways.

For example, in German and English classes, they lovingly created and decorated Easter cards.
In Science, the children learned how a chick develops inside an egg — an exciting experience that allowed them to understand the process of a chick's growth and to learn many new things about the development of a hen.

Another highlight was creating figures with an Easter egg Tangram in Math class, where the children demonstrated their skills in spatial thinking and problem-solving.
Additionally, there was the activity of coloring Easter eggs and making Easter nests, which provided the children with interesting insights into the significance of these and other traditions for the Easter celebration.

The highlight of Easter week was the Easter nest hunt in the garden of the Bulgarian embassy on Friday. With great anticipation, the children looked out for the well-hidden nests and were delighted to find chocolate bunnies, chocolate eggs, and some useful school supplies.

We are already looking forward to Easter next year.
