On Friday, February 21, 2025, the students of the elementary school embarked on an exciting excursion to the tulip fields, located near the German Embassy. Under bright sunshine, the children set off from the school at 9:30 AM.
The tulip is a classic example of an early bloomer, which we study in our science lessons. These plants bloom in late winter or very early spring, typically between February and April, when temperatures are still cool. They bring colour to the often grey landscape and herald the arrival of spring.
During the excursion, the students were tasked with drawing the different parts of this flower. With great enthusiasm and creativity, they captured their observations on paper.
At 11:00 AM, we returned to school, filled with new impressions and a collection of successful drawings. We are already looking forward to our next exciting excursion!
