My name is Kamya Handa. I am a mother of two children. I am doing scrapbooking with the middle school and as someone who has always loved preserving memories through art, I’m thrilled to share the joy of scrapbooking with my students. I still remember how much I enjoyed creating colorful pages filled with photos, stickers, and little notes as a child — each one telling its own story.
Through scrapbooking, I encourage children to express their creativity, celebrate their memories, and find beauty in the small details of everyday life. It’s wonderful to see how this activity brings out each child’s imagination and helps them appreciate art in a personal and meaningful way. My goal is to create a fun, relaxed space where every student feels inspired to design, explore, and tell their story in their own unique style.
